Always Tired is a Minneapolis-based cover band that blends pop, rock, country, blues, and funk into a unique sound. The band's journey began in the basement of bassist Minde's home, where he and drummer Luis first toyed with the idea of forming a group. Luis soon invited Reid, a talented keys player, to join the sessions, and Reid, in turn, brought his brother and guitarist Connor into the mix. As the jam sessions continued, the band convinced Cat to lend her vocals. After a stretch without a lead singer, Connor introduced his longtime friend, Zakir, completing the lineup and bringing the band to life. The band became complete after adding Nae on backing vocals and Reid's wife Bri on the violin.
